BLIND GUARDIAN, OVERKILL Singers To Guest On Tonight's 'Black Night Meditations'

June 26, 2007

BLIND GUARDIAN vocalist Hansi Kürsch and OVERKILL frontman Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth will guest on tonight's edition of "Black Night Meditations", a four-hour metal radio show on WSCA 106.1 FM in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Kürsch discusses the possibility of performing the entire 1998 album "Nightfall In Middle-Earth" live, as well as how he ranks it among BLIND GUARDIAN's discography. Ellsworth offers his thoughts on the 1989 album "The Years of Decay", and how he feels about the songwriting at that time. Both albums will be spun in their entirety, unedited and uninterrupted.

Two other albums that will be played in their entirety are SATYRICON's "Dark Medieval Times" (with bonus rare 1992 demo) and YNGWIE MALMSTEEN's "Rising Force" (with pre-"Rising Force" demos). All four albums were voted on by listeners of "Black Night Meditations".

"Black Night Meditations" is a four-hour metal radio show that focuses on black, death, thrash, power, shred, doom, prog and traditional metal every Tuesday night at 10:00 p.m. EST.
